6:30 PM - Wagon ride through the campground and into the woods. Young and old alike are invited to participate, weather permitting.

May 3-5	*RED BARN CAMPGROUND OPENS* with 11th annual CLEANUP WEEKEND (Weather permitting). CAMP 2 nights FOR FREE. Bring rakes, leaf blowers and/or other yard equipment. Saturday, help us get the park cleaned up and ready to welcome our guests after a long winter. COMPLIMENTARY MEAL Saturday evening. Just want to camp and not work, regular fees apply. Reserve for next weekend and leave your rig here until then!
May 10-12	Check out the diner for the best burgers in Holden!
May 17-19	Armed Forces Day: 20% discount for active or retired military. Breakfast served all day every day in the diner.
May 24-27	MEMORIAL DAY: Chili cook-off—come prepared! Cribbage, prizes and other special events. Book your site for next year. They go fast! And you’ll get it for the ’13 price!
May 31-June 2	Pot luck supper in the Pavilion (Sat. @ 5PM) Make sure you have your reservations for 4th of July, Christmas in July and Halloween in August! Have Friday supper in the diner (All you can eat fish fry!) and don’t forget your Gifford’s ice cream!
June 6-9	GRANDMA & GRANDPA WEEKEND: Bring your grandkids and get second nite of camping at ½ price. Activities oldsters and youngsters can do together.
June 14-16	FATHER’S DAY: A COMPLIMENTARY breakfast for all men, served in the pavilion 8AM-10:00AM. Take Dad to the diner for ice cream on this special day.
June 21-23	BAYWATCH DAYS: Kids’ water games, make your own sundae, free refreshments at the pool area. Water games.
June 28-30	AMAZING RACE WEEKEND: Race all over the world and see if you can be the champion. Fun & prizes!
July 4-7	PATRIOTIC & RACE WEEKEND: Fourth annual BBQ cook-off!! Sign up in the store if you want to demonstrate your skill at the grill or just come to eat. Parade for kids in the morning. Watch the race on the big screen. Men vs. women challenge. Prizes, raffles, etc.
July 12-14	SURVIVOR WEEKEND: Real challenges, real teams. This is a blast!!!!! Can you survive???? Adult’s and children’s versions. PRIZES! After you survive... Doug Baker and BOOTLEG in the pavilion! Dance or just listen.
July 19-21	CHRISTMAS IN JULY:Reserve NOW! Decorate your site; winner gets a free weekend of camping. Tree, Santa, gifts, site judging, Christmas carols, karaoke, Prizes!!! And more.
July 26-28	COUNTRY WESTERN WEEKEND: Wear your hat and boots! We dug up Elvis again! Back by popular demand: Bruce Nye The Elvis Guy (The Red Barn's most popular entertainer!)
August 2-4	HALLOWEEN IN AUGUST: Book early for this weekend of spooky fun! Ghost walks, cemetery, wagon ride into the haunted woods for adults as well as children, costume parade, prizes, Kids’ Halloween party. You can’t miss this weekend.
August 9-11	EASTER WEEKEND: Easter egg coloring, Easter egg hunt, decorate your site.
August 16-18	ENDLESS BIRTHDAY PARTY: Celebrate everyone’s birthday with us! Party games, balloons, etc. NEW BAND (for us) COLD BREW! You'll love'm! Dance or just listen in the pavilion.

August 30 - Sept 2	LABOR DAY WEEKEND: PIRATES: All ye pirates out there (and pirate wannabees). Search for hidden treasure, dress up as a pirate, gold coins, water games, volley ball, walk the plank! SUNDAY NIGHT—Country rock band RANGER plays in the pavilion!
September 6-8	THANKSGIVING DINNER. We cook the turkey and you bring the fixings. This is a wonderful meal with lots to eat. Mashed potatoes, gravy, stuffing, squash, peas, rolls, cranberry sauce, etc. and incredible home made desserts like pumpkin pie, pecan pie. Enjoy the fall foliage and try to forget that winter is coming!
