The Red Barn Campground located in Holden Maine sits on thirty wooded acres just off the primary access road to Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park. It consists of one hundred and twenty sites, most of which have water, sewer and electric hook-ups, some with 50 amp service. Free Wi-Fi and Cable TV connections are also available.

The location is ideal in many respects: The Red Barn Campground i is easily found only a few minutes from I-95, Maine's major north-south interstate and is only 6 miles from Bangor, Maine's second largest city. Bangor offers good restaurants, many cultural activities and the second-largest shopping mall in Maine. It is also close to two large lakes offering opportunities for boating and fishing and is less than an hour from Bar Harbor.

In addition to well equipped, shaded campsites, The Red Barn Campground offers on-site access to propane, ice and firewood and has a country store for your last-minute needs. It also has its own restaurant serving breakfast and lunch and dinner as well as ice cream in multiple flavors.

When your not enjoying the many sight-seeing and recreational opportunities at Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor, you may wish to cool off in the heated swimming pool or take a walk down our nature trails and spy on the resident beaver!
